Pervert kitchen worker masturbated naked in front of school children

A kitchen porter stood naked and masturbated in front of a group of schoolchildren before following them along a coastal path, a court heard.
Tomasz Glinski targeted women and children last summer, exposing himself and masturbating in full view of those who spotted him.
Polish-born Glinski, 37, of Treravel Farm in Padstow, appeared at Truro Crown Court to be sentenced after admitting three counts of outraging public decency. He was also punished for three charges of making indecent images of children.
Prosecuting barrister Jason Beal told the court how last June a woman and her two children left their home in Church Lane, walking near to St Petroc’s Church.
Mr Beal said: “They saw the defendant at the entrance stood naked apart from with a rucksack on his back. He was looking at her, smiling and masturbating.
“She was very scared by what happened and didn’t know what the defendant might do or if he had anything in his rucksack which could have done her harm.
“Then on July 17 two gas fitters were working on a property in School Lane. One looked out the window and saw the defendant in a bus stop masturbating, appearing to be behind the back of an oblivious female.
“He then left the grassy area and continued masturbating nearby whilst passing motorists beeped their horns. This happened at about 3.30pm and close to a school.
“An hour and a half later four 13-year-olds were out visiting a local beach. They had been in the sea and got out and climbed over rocks to go to another beach when they saw the defendant masturbating.
“He followed them causing them all to become upset. Some of the girls called their parents and the defendant was found sitting on a bench topless in some short shorts.”
Police were subsequently informed and the defendant was located and arrested. At his home officers found a rucksack matching the description and the short shorts that were also seized.
Many of the victims were said to have been left traumatised by the events, with some of the group now unwilling to go out alone or back to the same beach.
While searching Glinski’s home the officers also took away a laptop computer which, when examined, was found to have 311 indecent images of children. Three were of the most serious category (Category A), 17 Category B, and 291 Category C.
This number included movies and an image of a dog having sex with a 10-year-old child. Glinski’s browser history also indicated searches related to child abuse images.
Sentencing Glinski, Recorder Martin Meeke, QC, said: “It’s clear to me that you are a man with mental health difficulties and a man who needs help. My assessment is that could best be done in your native Poland and you have stated a desire to return immediately.”
Mr Meeke also outlined aggravating features of the offending which included the location of the offences, the timing, the presence of children and the clear intent on ensuring people would see him masturbating.
Mr Meeke ordered that the laptop, shorts and rucksack be destroyed.
Taking into account all the offending, Glinski was handed a 12-month prison sentence suspended for two years.
He must also sign the Sex Offenders’ Register and be made subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, as well as paying £500 in court costs.
