How To Report A Website

If you come across a website which is displaying illegal content you have an obligation to report that website. If you don't report the website and for whatever reason your ISP or the police does a search on what you have been viewing, then you could be prosecuted for viewing illegal content. So as a rule of thumb, if you accidently come across something illegal, report it, this way you are covering yourself from potentially being prosecuted.

It’s easy and very straight forward to report a website, you can even report it anonymously. The website to report it to is called IWF which stands for Internet Watch Foundation, iwf.org.uk. Once reported they can have the content down within 24 hours and will always prosecute where possible.
